Maciej Swirski has been appointed the chairman of Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT).
At the same time, the regulator’s new board also appointed Agnieszka Glapiak as his deputy.
Swirski, who has replaced Witold Kolodziejski, was most recently the chairman of the supervisory board of the Polish Press Agency (PAP).
Both his and Glapiak’s candidacy were supported by Poland’s ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party.
