They will be transmitted from the ABS-2A satellite instead of the ABS-2 from 18 October. Subscribers will have to reinstall the software in their decoders.

The MTS telecommunications operator decided to use the capacity of the new fully electric ABS-2A satellite to further develop its services. This satellite will move all its transponders of ABS 2. It will happen on October 18, 2017. With the satellite change, the parameters of all multiplexes are adjusted: the frequency is shifted by +7 MHz. Thus, for example, the frequency in the old 11,913 GHz satellite changes to 11,920 GHz after moving to the new satellite.
