SRF Info HD TV channel goes on air on Hot Bird.
Swiss public radio and television station has launched its high definition version of its information Television channel, SRF information on March 23, 2015.
SRF Info HD is distributed in cable networks in Switzerland and DTH households via satellite system of Eutelsat Hot Bird at 13 degree East in the frequency 12.399 GHz H (SR 27500, FEC 3/4).
In contrast to other SRG other popular channels, SRF info is transmitted unencrypted that is free to air via Hotbird satellite.
SRF Info has been the last channel of SRG not simulcast in HD quality. February 29, 2016 The SRG want to disable all feeds on SD channels on Hot Bird satellite.
