STN provides DTH service to Sub-Sahara and Africa
STN Slovenia announced that it has a new DTH platform that brought operated by the Chinese company Star Times SSA.
After the satellite service, Star Times specifically sought which already has a strong presence in the market for digital DTH in Africa, the provision of pay-TV services. Exceeding 2.5 million subscribers in 11 countries.
The platform uses the Ka-band SES Astra 5 MPEG-4/DVB-S2 delivered by satellite.
